I have a feeling Golden will offer Williams a job somewhere on the staff. He has a wife and a kid on the way; and it's very unlikely that he ever lands an NFL roster spot, even if he plays a season at UM. I have no facts to back this up, lol. It's just an idea.

In that scenario I could see Crow get nudged out. I think he'll try to get a medical redshirt. Can't blame him either. Poor guy put in work and waited his turn only to see it taken away by an injury. Whatever he does, wish him the best.

Is Williams out for the football season this fall or is he just out for the spring/summer?

The word is it's a non-contact-induced ACL tear, injured while running or doing drills. Different theories as to what the timetable might be.

Got a feeling this kid is gonna make some serious noise when he steps on campus. Coordinating lots of summer workouts with the WRs and tons of film room time.

And he's not too much of a kid either.... 6'3 230lbs
