Whats the point of moving Dallas to offense if we dont even use him there? He would be starting at safety right now if we left him on D. He is a PLAYMAKER. I will be highly disappointed if he transfers.

This kind of stuff makes me laugh. You really think the coaches would move a guy if he was amazing at another position and would be starting there? They see these kids every day in practice. Crawford is pretty tiny. I would like to see him with the ball in his hands however.

We will lose by 40+ if Williams is the starter.

We're probably going to lose by that no matter who starts.

The kid wasn't aan unknown... He was visiting on his own dime back in 2010 to visit the campus on a number of occasions, but his biggest knock percieved by the prior staff was speed for the corner position... Coach Golden took him in and tried him at corner and safety but I believe he was too slow and out of shape... They moved him tho offense and nothing has happened... I think he is a guy without a position... If was going to be our starting safety they wouldn't have moved him to offense... Maybe he doesn't fit into our system... I think Dmoney mentioned that he ran a 4.7, that's not cutting it at a major d1 university...

Good posts by DMoney, and you do have good points regarding both Scott and him having a week to prepare. But you hit on the key point early on. Williams is mediocre at best. Minimal arm strength and athleticism. Adequate decision making and accuracy. A marginal game manager on a team that needs a leader and playmaker at QB. When Williams got in the game, he looked scared. I get that you want to keep the play calling conservative, but he needs to step up with an opportunity like that. He threw balls in the dirt, took a terrible sack, and made a poor decision on the final 4th down.

Big big game for Williams. This is why you transfer to Miami. To play in this game. If he comes out swingng with everything hes got, maybe we keep FSU off balance a little bit as they dont have much film on the guy. And if hes scared against FSU, we lose by 50 points. They will make the 2010 beatdown look like the 2009 classic.

To be fair Williams did come into a wee bit of a difficult situation.

I'm sorry but we are absolutely ****ed if Williams starts. no amount of spin concerning ball control this and that will change that.

What? We're 4-3, have been totally embarrassed by the two ranked opponents we've faced, and barely came out on top in 3 of our 4 wins.
