Ryan Williams and some other thoughts...

IF we could manage to hold sustained drives, and dink and dunk our way downfield for scores, it really is our best chance for a win. If we could do what ND did to us and double their time of posssesion it's about the only chance we have. Those are very, very big if's though. We've been feast or famine all season, living on big plays and sustaing very few drives.

I like the thought of bringing in a JUCO RB if we can get the right guy. Duke isn't going to be a workhorse next year and shouldn't be just yet. I like EC but I don't think he's that dude. Collins is a bad *** man but he'll be a true frosh and will be prone to hitting the wall like all fish.

But make it be the right guy. Don't bring in a body. If we can't get someone elite, I'd prefer Collins + Chestnut or someone else.
 
D - does O'Donnell have the skills to be a player for us here, or is this gonna be one of those things?

O'Donnell looks like any of our top notch TEs of the past? Any of our current TEs improve any under the current TE coach?

not optimistic about that move for those reasons.

Not so good news about Dillard.

Someone tell Dallas that Willis went through the same thing. Stick it out young man.
 
Based on his size alone I was really hopeful to see what O'Donnell was going to show at DE, where we desperately need someone with some size and strength, so just by my eye, seeing as there really aren't very many options there, this looks like an odd move. Agree with people here that its surprising that Crawford hasn't gotten snaps on O. He looks fast and shifty enough, and we need more production. Hope he balls out when he gets a shot.

no need to bring in a JC RB unless he's special. Freshman RBs can carry the load when combined with Duke. Collins looks special as a RB and between him, Duke and a 3rd RB that's all the carries you'd need. Wouldn't need any of them to be a the work horse. Just keep them all fresh and hitting it up in there.

My thinking was if they had a lot of confidence in him, they had all the opportunity to play action and take a shot down field, because Carolina loaded the box when he came in. After what I saw Saturday I am not impressed.

Right. FSU is gonna sit on all that ****. We might have 100 yds of offense by end of the game.

I was praying that Fisch would call a play with a double move, slant and go or something like that. UNC was squatting on all the short stuff, think we could have beat them with a double move.

It's one thing getting thrown out there down a score with six minutes left, and another when you have a whole week to prepare.

I'm not saying he's a stud because he's not. But I think he gives it a good go on Saturday.

Thought the same thing when the CB jumped Dorsett on the slant late in the game.
 
Whats the point of moving Dallas to offense if we dont even use him there? He would be starting at safety right now if we left him on D. He is a PLAYMAKER. I will be highly disappointed if he transfers.
