But he was a huge out of State D-Linemen and he came down here. I don't doubt Golden's recruiting ability. Jethro is another question. Who knows maybe Al can use the same spell he used for AQM in jersey that he can for Holley in NY

No question about that.

It's good news that he already likes UM without even visiting, but I don't think we'll really know were he lean before at least the start of his season.

I am not a fan of our DL coach or his coaching but since we recruit by area and not just position, we should cut him some slack (in terms of recruiting effort).

Im a little less harsh on coaches, but jethro is garbage, the guy cant recruit for ****, and he cant coach for ****, this is his and doritos make or break year IMO

Bring up cultural, social and lifestyle difference and the reality of living in Bama vs. Miami. Fact that family and friends would also prefer to and be more comfortable in a Miami setting than Tuscaloosa when attending games or visiting. I mean would people from Brooklyn rather SoBe, restaurants and entertainment of Miami or sitting on back of a pickup drinking hot beer and woohooing? Lets us not forget their past history and the fact that most that fill those stands have strong beliefs about a Black mans place in America. Ask him? Thomas when football season is over or after games would your options be better at Bama or Miami? When your career is over can you see yourself returning often or living in Miami or a small country town like Tuscalossa? Do you need Bama to be successful or can you make a difference at a school that offers diversity throught the university and football program for non-players and minorities? Ask yourself Thomas do you reward a school becaus they have success on the field recently or do you owe a bigger debt to your people by encouraging institutions to show greater diversity? Son Bama may want you to play football for them, but do you think they would hire you in a non-football professional/management position? If the answer is no, then we'll love for you to continue the success The U has had on the field, graduating players and cultural diversity. Your responsibilities are to more than football. My point is that I will believe an OOS top level recruit at DT is coming here when I see it. I am on the record as thinking that every kid at this position is a nutjob at this point.

Honestly if Miami stays healthy we should win 9 games no problem and play in acccg. This team must win the coastal with this roster especially on offense at minimum. Even losses at FSU and maybe even UNC we should still win the coastal and play in the title game. We get GT,UVA,VT at home should be wins. Duke and Pitt on the road should be double digit wins with both teams starting new QB'S. UNC is a tossup on the road but they will lose multiple games and lost the best player they have had in awhile in Bernard. Non Conference sched. is very soft this year. FAU,USF are horrible and Savannah st is probably the worst 1AA team in the country. UF is at home and they lost 6 top guys on Defense and the offense is medicore. If Miami comes to play we should win if we lose it still doesn't affect the coastal standings..

no we have to win the UNC game, they actually finished ahead of us for the coastal but was held out of the game because of sanctions. i wont count on them losing 2 acc games
