There are always some outliers, recently in 2020 coastal carolina started a 5’9 center (former walk on), and he was solid (allowed 0 pressures vs BYU and was going against 6’4 future NFL draft pick)View attachment 259409
I have had multiple outstanding OL play for me but at that position size matters the most when it comes to recruiting. Big bank take little bank.
Being from Northern VA, (if his grades are good enough) look into Washington and Lee. He could play both sports there.

Yeah, everyone knows this. Cop's kids are always morally superior.
Outlier in a scheme fit. Coastal was an option team. You could probably find a skewed stat for linemen at navy and army too. Doesn’t mean much in regards to P5 scholarships. There are always some outliers, recently in 2020 coastal carolina started a 5’9 center (former walk on), and he was solid (allowed 0 pressures vs BYU and was going against 6’4 future NFL draft pick)
Oh I don’t think he’s a realistic option for us unless Mirabel signs off. I do love to see an underdog, but he’s likely a sunbelt backup at best at that heightAgreed. But when we ran with Clark, Denis and Sagapolu we got destroyed up front. And they were all pushing 300. The kid would need to be truly exceptional (as in a 1 in 10M type footballer) to play at a high P5. Maybe a Duke or Ga Tech type team, not sure. And even then, the only way he'd get attention is camping and dominating elite competition.
I agree, I kinda just wanted to share that factoid, cause it was recent and a cool story about a really short OL that played much better than his heightOutlier in a scheme fit. He said, "say that to a particular group of Americans". I was being positive in what I said, but it's definitely some people's thinking to be divisive to suit their narrative when it comes to segregating themselves to groupings.Interesting that they didn’t say anything about race but that’s immediately where your mind went…wonder what could possibly be driving that…
