Tennessee and Ole Miss.
Of course Ole Miss is overrated the year FSU leads off against them, so when they win everyone will crown FSU.
What on earth has either Tennessee done to merit their preseason rating?
Butch Jones has the familiar (to UM fans) 5,7,9 win pattern going into year 4 as head coach. Maybe some voters figure Jones will continue going up in wins. Plus I guess the close losses to Alabama and OU impressed poll voters. I still believe their poll rating is ridiculous.
Chris Peterson was great at BSU. But he hasn't done much of anything at UW to merit his high preseason rating. I guess voters believe his Boise magic will transfer over to UW even though it hasn't yet. Plus voters may figure that a new dynasty will begin in the PAC 12 North since Mark Helfrich at Oregon is seeming a bit like Larry Coker and Frank Solich right now.
Id argue that Herflich never came close to even, coker, status.
Dude is such a beta. Bruitlynn jenner prob thinks hes handsome
Won't be popular, but it's LSU for me.
What's changed on offense, where they need vast improvement, since last year? What's different this year over the last 5? Nothing. They don't have an effective or even efficient QB. No defense can cover the gross ineptitude of Cameron for an entire season. Again. They're switching an entire front 7 alignment, and people are just buying the line "Oh well they actually have better personnel for a 3-4 than a 4-3." That's garbage. So Chavis and Steele are idiots when it comes to suiting their defensive needs? And Aranda's somehow going to manufacture points for the offense? If Fournette got injured, LSU is a middling SEC squad.
People want to put Tennessee in their because of our interactions with them with croots, et al. But they aren't nearly as overrated as LSU has been for years. The SEC Easy will be just that, and while Jones spends most games looking for a flight of stairs to fall down, I think LSU is the most overrated.
FSU and Tennessee for sure. I give FSU praise here and there, but some of these analyst are crazy predicting a NC from them this year. I'm not too high on them this year regardless; 9-3 with losses to the good guys, Louisville, and Clemson.
Tennessee has a lot of talent but they also have an Al Golden clone.
Notre Dame. Think they will have a down year. Lost A TON.
