Richt's been giving us hints recruiting wasn't going so well

I never believe in the record brings croots bs......why Collins went to Arkansas? Why desean went to cal? Y FSU have a top three class when jumbo had a bad first year?

That record **** is be its an excuse for people. If u recruit beastly u recruit beastly period end of story. Y kids continue to go to uf? Y kids go to LSU? Y Louisville got kids when strong got there? Y Herman got a beast of a DT at Houston?

Recruiting is a gift and also u have to have the infrastructure at the school too. They gotta be down with the money bags and if ya money ain't long and u recruiting savages only u fked if u lose out.

herman got the DT to go to houston coming off a year he beat FSU in the bowl

Nah, it had more to do with Oliver playing high school football in Houston and his older brother on the Cougar's roster. Plus he committed to them before Herman won a single game as a coach...Their great season had nothing to do with it.

We never seem to be able to compete with the Noles or da Gatah for recruits. Believe this was true even when we were good. FL kids just don't want to come here.

Recruiting nowadays is a bit like the stock market. Warren Buffett pointed out that it is much harder nowadays to find undervalued stocks because there is so much information out there that nearly every investor will be in on a stock the instant they think it's undervalued and it drives the price back up so that it's no longer a bargain. There are still undervalued stocks, but the ones who know about those particular stocks play it close to the vest. There is so much information in recruiting now that it's hard to find 3 star gems like Butch Da Gaaaaawd did in the 90s. As soon as film gets out these guys become four and five stars and the bagman cometh. Yet there are still some undervalued prospects that coaches secretly think are much better than the recruiting services indicate, but fans will just dog a coaching staff that goes after select two and three star recruits, claiming that they are recruiting those guys only because the staff struck out on higher ranked players.

We have at least three non-recruiters on the staff in Doogans, Rumph and baby-Richt. Not entirely sure what Searels brings to the table yet. Hard to overcome that, even smack bang in the middle of THE most fertile area in the nation for two of those guys' positions.

Freepawn MIGHT BE RIGHT. Especially this Rump guy.

Every one of these kids has a hudl page with highlights now and if you have a big senior year you'll get noticed

**** Bama may even come calling like they did for Aaron Robinson and Vosean Joseph last year

Esp in Sofla everybody comes here looking for 2 or 3 star gems
