Patchan doesn’t need to add weight.
Zero concern about Rousseau adding more over the next 7 months. If he can give some plays like garvin we’re good.

nice Rousseau up to about 6'6" 240lbs. Nice. I think he's going to get around 150 snaps this year - a lot.

None of them won't matter if we get gashed up the middle because of the lack of DT depth.

But I like Rousseau potential.

I am assuming the DT's we have on the roster step up. You seem to be assuming the DT's we have will not be any good.
Let's see which assumption is close to being more correct in reality.

Yep. I’m glad we fired a coach for not being able to take the program to the next level to hire a coach who just got fired for not being able to take his program to the next level. We surely won with this hire.

What better results would you like outside of 2 DB's and Coburn today? Asking in all seriousness. If this class signed today, instead of December, taking all the drama away, I think we'd all be pretty **** happy. PS2 and TC are failures, no doubt about it, should've landed 1 of them, but it's not like we have scrubs at DB. Gil, Ivey, Hall, and Blades are BIGTIME.

This class is loaded top to bottom.

You don't. You bulk up and add weight to gain muscle and get stronger, but unfortunately, you also have to add fat as well. Come summer, you shed the fat and hope to retain as much muscle and strength as possible.

We need to be landing around 20 kids each cycle that are 4/5 stars.

I think we ended up at 15.

It's a high bar, but that's where Alabama/Georgia/Ohio State/etc are at the moment, so that's what we need to be doing just to keep up.

I dont look at it like that...I saw some sights where Patrick Joyner was a 3* and we all know that dude is a stud. I go by out of everyone in our class..who doesnt belong or who do you consider a reach? Off the top of my head I am just say Nigel Bethel. One recruit out of 20+ that was a reach.

Miller I dont see as a reach. I see as a guy that people got on late. He had 10 FBS offers in a week after his tape got out. Bama gave him a phone call.. Imagine if he had done camps and hit the circuit last summer. Easy 4*.

I am mad at not getting TC/PS2/Chatman but im not crazy enough to think that this isnt a really good class. Its just not as great as it could have been. But ****, only even Bama doesnt get everyone they want. (Losing Quay Walker at the last minute, not getting Mark Pope, not getting Gurvan Hall, etc)
 
With the numbers we signed we will play with about 78 players. Adding 7 four star guys means your team can continue to play with injuries and fatigue. We are not back.

This. The numbers just aren’t there and that’s finally on Richt.

Imagine if we had another DE, DT, LB, CB, S, OL, and RB/WR. We’d all feel a lot better.

We’re essentially self-probationing ourselves.

The D is going to be a liability with our low numbers (and young guys playing). Hopefully we can win the shootouts.
