Richt finishing out this class

We have 20 verbals right now. I figure we have anywhere from 6-10 more ships to give. We are at 75 ships now. We have 12 seniors. That is 22. 6-8 in attrition sounds about right. I figure 1-3 OL transfer out. Does Pathan get healthy or take a medical hardship? I think 1-2 qbs may transfer after spring ball. BK, coming back or NFL? Does Gus the Bus transfer out or move to FB? I know he is all world . . . Maybe Yearby decides to go pro and be a 4th round pick.

So here is how I think/hope Richt finishes the class in my order of importance:

2 LBs
2 OL/T&G
1 DB
1 WR
1 RB

If we have 3 OL leave then I wouldn't mind another quality OL kid if he is out there. I think that a juco corner or safety might be prudent. A fullback seems important, maybe the juco/grad route again.

this class is vital. once we load up with 2017 kids to back up these 2016 kids, we will be rolling.

or another RB. If we land macfarland or Felix great, if not move on to the 2018 studs

I'd like to see us get 1 more DT or DE. With AQM gone and Chad possibly to the NFL, I would take 1 more

A medical hardship for Patchan? What?

He's already doing some practice and will be back THIS season, maybe even in time for FSU or UNC.

He suffered a knee injury, not a broken neck.

LB- Deandre Wilder (I think we get him in November)

DB- Amari Carter

RB- Maybe McFarland (but I would like to see us go after Kameron Duncan, I think he's underrated & will end up as a great back)

WR- I think both Holloman & Smith are long shots; Holloman's mom is a diehard UGA fan, I think we have a shot when he comes to visit, but his family will be difficult to overcome.

With Smith, if he's going to wait until February then our chances are better, by that time Bama could have other WR's committed that would make it obvious for him to come here, but you know how these kids are when it comes to Bama.

Idk how the staff feels about Harley, I think if they really want him they can easily flip him. He apparently visited for the FAU game yesterday, and I know Coach Dugans has spoke with him a month ago, but Idk how hard they're after him.

OL- I think we'll flip Kadeem Telfort

DE- Either Carney or Wright (but I think we should try to flip Michael Allen from Wake Forest, that kid is a beast!)

I have us finishing with 24 or 25... I think we get Wilder, Carter, Telfort & one of the DE's.

I'm unsure about the RB's because Mac seems to really like Bama & I think Felix is all Oregon, but I'm fine with just Burns for this class.

Njoku, production wise, has done NOTHING to even think he should be heading to the NFL as a RS Soph

At this rate neither can enter the NFL early which would be good for us... Njoku has disappointed me so far, Herndon looks beastly out there imo

Yea, the Njoku hype train got out of control this offseason.

He has freakish physical traits but he needs to produce a lot more than he has been so far.

Would love to see us go after Tennessee commit Kivon Bennett. He's a slightly undersized, penetrating DT from STA. Have to think he will love the way our DL is performing

I agree with this. The key is getting another good OT and OG. Telfort and Chandler would fit the bill. Carter is the next DB. At RB/WR, we need gamebreakers. Guys like McFarland, Holloman, Smith, Harley, etc. I would probably say two more WRs.

I would also love to see us get another DT but it doesn't look like we are after anyone.

I think we get Carter at safety and possibly 1 more corner. If we get 1 more corner Deejay Dallas will play WR, if we don't then he'll be a CB. Then, we try to add another WR or 2.

Then obviously at least 1 maybe 2 OL, especially a true OT. Maybe another RB, LB, and DL.
 
Def would love to see us get 1 more LB, 1 more S (Carter), and a couple more OL. Other than that, playmakers and speed!!!! A game changer at RB would be perfect!
 
How are things looking for Alex Leatherwood? I have not heard much about him recently so I am assuming that maybe its starting to cool on our chances. Only news I saw was him starting to get interest in Michigan and I think Texas is offering him. Are we still his best shot to start as a freshman for his 3 and out plan? I guess it mostly comes down to the FSU and ND games with him.
