Remembering Willie Williams

I'll pay someone to post that pic of Willie in prison garb sitting in the courtroom with a giant lobster claw. I can't find that pic anywhere, and it's fugging gold. That ****'s a Rembrandt.

I don't have the claw pic and I am not a photoshop guy, so someone else can do the honors.

Thanks, bro. I think we got an ace on this site. Maybe he'll put a big red lobster claw on Willie to recreate one of my all-time favorite chops.

How did I know it was for burglary?

He was arrested for burglarizing a stereo shop when he was in HS, before he signed with UM. He had a set of professional burglary tools.

He came to UM with a vocation to fall back on. Looks like he didn't waste it.

He was a **** monster but in addition to his behavior problems, he wasn't that sharp on the football field (he wasn't really a dumb kid if you ever talked to him though). I know somebody who played with him at Pace and he told me that Lavon Ponder used to have to tell Willie what to do on every single play.

iirc, WW got >1000 in the SAT or some crazy thing like that.

Probably burglarized the test answers the night before.

I seem to remember Willie got like a 1300 on his SAT. Or at least whoever took the test for him did. That, and him being "a product of the city of Miami", was Donna's justification for letting him into school.

I remember Willie as a sophomore D End at Pace. Very raw at the time and he played on a very good team but he was the guy who jumped out at you as having scary potential. As a 19 year old 5th year high school senior at Carol City he was a man amongst boys. Sad how things turned out for him.
