"Mark should be as mad as anybody because, imagine coming to the University of Miami and having to play a bunch of kids? . . . Imagine being saddled with that? He's the one who should be mad . . . and he is mad, and he's gonna fight. Everybody wants this change and that change. Mark's not a quitter. None of us are."

A full grasp of reality? Golden ain't got it.

Most of his post gamers and interviews this past season - I think in every damned one, Golden and D'Onofrio blamed the kids. ****ed me off, and some here can't figure out why I detest that SOB? It's real simple. He's not up to the job.

That reads like something out of the Onion... if the Onion had any interest in writing about this dead *** program.

What's funny about this to me is they are mad about this, but how many coaches out there would love to be "saddled" with coaching Miami "kids". While a lot of coaches might not want to come to Miami for various reasons, I'd be willing to bet there are some pretty good coaches who would be willing to take these kids and play them.

Just so you know, this took me all of 5 seconds to look up. Nothing against you Dingaan so don't take this the wrong way, because this is more in response to someone else who kept trying to make me do all the work to prove him wrong without doing any research himself to prove he was right, but I swear people on this board are lazy as ****. I could understand if it was difficult to find, but literally, the first link that came up was this article. I can also understand people wanting evidence provided, but again, this one was beyond easy to find.

Petrino must be nutting on himself thinking about his offense facing Dono's D in the first game. Remember when opponent's would fear our defense, those were the days.

I didn't say he never said it. But it was posted as if this was just spoken. The OP left off the link - maybe because it was from Nov. 2012? Taken in the context of the 2012 season and who we had to give playing time to - and why (early defections), the comments are right on target. I agree with what Golden expressed in that article at that time. I thought it was a little disingenuous for the OP to not provide the time context. If Golden had said that after the 2013 season, then he would you have something.

Also, it wasn't a matter of me, or you looking it up. I sort of wanted the OP to post the link.

And, this in no way excuses the defensive failures of 2013.

Hey, Genius! First, you don't believe it was said. Want a link. Where in **** have you been the past few years?

You don't recall this? What else has slipped by you with this coaching staff?

Just because you only pop in on rare occasions, and don't keep up with the program doesn't mean we have to always be ready to bring you up to speed. Disingenuous I didn't put a date on it? If you knew WTF was going on with the program, you'd remember it.

You wanted ME to post the link. Not only are you uninformed, you're lazy. You have fingers. Unless they're perpetually stuck up your (well, you know.)

Then you excuse such comments. I can't believe it. That was in 2012, and keep in mind, since you mention 2013 end of season - he tried to bail on us for the PSU job, and went Missing In Action while he tried to negotiate that job.

It's your mindset, shared by BOT members, the Administration, and many fans as to why we suk so very badly. The only possible way it could get worse, is to increase this ****'s contract, or lock UM into a long, long term contract with SunLife.

Thanks.

When someone has an agenda, facts are easy to be overlooked. "Kids" as in young kids is what we had playing on D at the end of 2012, again, AT THE END OF THE 2012 season which is when this article is from.

This is the 2-deep for the last game against Duke, which we won by the way.

14 out of 22 in the 2-deep were freshmen or sophmores....MORE THAN HALF, 64% to be exact.

Wall to wall insults. I would expect something better from a trained SF killer with a documented 150:1 kill ratio. BTW, does that include kids?

Trained SF killers don't announce they are trained SF killers.
