. Mario got the power brokers to spend on NIL and facility upgrades that Manny was never going to accomplish here. That's why Mario will get 5 years compared to Manny's 3. Is that fair ? Not really but Mario at least had the experience to justify his salary and Miami chased him not the other way around. The next two years are obviously pivotal for Mario.

I am not ok with cats like this though. And that should never be the standard here, no matter who the HC or OC is. We need to get someone better, simple as that. I think we will. And if we don’t, Mario’s third year will likely be a trainwreck.

Uva had a pretty **** good offense with 2 of these types.

Are you completely convinced that what we saw since GT is actually the offense that Dawson wants to run? I honestly don't know, but I'm skeptical that that conservative bunched formation crap with no creativity is really what he'd be running if he'd been hired somewhere else. Because the last 2 years of offensive scheme/design and playcalling is our #1 problem, both with wins and getting QBs interested in playing here.

I will say again - the coaches at the QB position are betting everything on their own evaluations. They did it with Emory and Judd and now (allegedly) this kid. They're gonna live and die by their QB evals.

Gonna be some hefty receipts one way or another in a couple years.
