Recruits Visiting for Duke Game

Recruiting could avalanche out of control quickly. If Mauigoa finally sees enough and bounces, what keeps Rashada around? We haven't heard from him in weeks anyway. He never was one of the ones saying he's sticking it out no matter what. He's expecting an elite LT to protect him. He's already missing an outside WR and RB. Gattis offense is a joke. We better hope Mauigoa sticks no matter what.

If your staff are good salesmen and you've got money, you can have a very good class even with a bad season. That is especially true in an injury-riddled year. If this staff can't close a highly-rated class, then some of them ain't the recruiters that I had hoped.

We'll get to find out real soon just how good this staff and Mario is recruiting.

Absolutely. I hope we pull a ton of portal kids. Flip this roster. Get back the injured rbs, add in last years players after a year of solid S&C, a whole year in both the offensive and defensive schemes. Cross my fingers and hope for the best. Lol

This is why I stated on another thread the colombus mafia better over spend and get him some top guys here or what was the purpose of hiring him.He's not a great talent evaluator like Butch and he's a below average coach,he's only grace is recruiting and if he recruits in the top 10-20 range like our past few coaches then why waste 8M a year on him and 4M on his staff to get the same and actually worse results.
 
Like usual, I’ll wait till December and moving forward to care about the class. With that said the same mindset applies for me based of what I’ve heard and seen from numerous people who have much more intel than I do regarding these things. Mario builds relationships and keeps it 100 with recruits and families………which means that until I see otherwise I don’t believe any recruit that is committed was sold some false bill of goods beforehand.

We’ll see what happens and while fans are rightfully ****ed about the on the field results………..how about letting the class play out based on Mario’s recruiting resume before throwing in the towel on that too. Or is that too much??
 
Players coming here are doing so at their own peril. We have a bunch of guys going backwards. Whatever excuse you want to make, it sucks. I wouldn’t sign up for this right now if I had other options. Just the truth.
