“Tough loss, but you know we’ll bounce back,” Mauigoa told CaneSport. “I came out here checking my phone and social media exploded and stuff, talking about you coming here, come there, everywhere. Just to let them know, I’m 100% committed, not changing my mind. Win or I lose, I’m going to bring ‘the U’ back.”

Tough news for the closet Noles in here saying he should go somewhere else.

lol thats bull**** bro. stop it. people and talent will go to where they know they can succeed and the place has a proven level of success and promotion. thats not miami. Marios job is to sell w his mouth and on field product. he failed the second part. Frances should go where he believes **** get to the league and succeed in college. its his life and career. one bad move and he ends up going undrafted

Kinda gets back to what I said in another thread - in my professional experience, the most talented people with the best opportunities will leave or avoid bad situations. No reason to make yourself suffer. The ones who stick around often don't have better options or drink management's kool aid. This is why I'm incensed at Mario's approach. Yeah we all want the roster filled with extremely talented tough guys who believe in the coach. It wouldnt have slowed down the roster transformation one bit to build the offense around TVD this season and incorporate a lot of pace and spacing, even if it looked more like a finesse offense than Mario would like.

Win all the easy games with the "finesse offense" and then if /when you lose to the good teams, you can tell recruits that this is why they are going to play a key role in bringing more physicality to the system and we'll be the ones pushing those tough opponents around next year. It's an easy sell.

There was no reason to insist on forcing the offense to do something it didn't have the personnel or skills to do. I think the truth is that the key reason Cristobal didn't try and gradually change the offense between this season and next season is that he doesn't have the coaching ability to do it. He had to go 100% caveman. The problem is that those aforementioned top quality recruits are not going to like what they see in the meantime.

Yikes. Need a good class this is a joke. But I fear the class is about to fall apart

Recruiting could avalanche out of control quickly. If Mauigoa finally sees enough and bounces, what keeps Rashada around? We haven't heard from him in weeks anyway. He never was one of the ones saying he's sticking it out no matter what. He's expecting an elite LT to protect him. He's already missing an outside WR and RB. Gattis offense is a joke. We better hope Mauigoa sticks no matter what.

We'll get to find out real soon just how good this staff and Mario is recruiting.

If this class falls apart then hiring Mario will absolutely go down as the final nail. Because he sure AF wasn't brought in for his coaching.

He needs a talent advantage to do anything. Better get some coordinators to carry his *** and recruit or get him out now

Recruits are looking elsewhere
