without outing anyone at any school (for obvious reasons), how big of a factor are the "bagmen"? That gets thrown around on message boards all the time without much to validate or refute that such a thing really is taking place. In your opinion is that currently a major factor in college football/basketball recruiting?

if you take a pass on that question, I understand.

When does Collier get his offer?

What are they waiting on?

We will see if he gets one. They might feel confident on Dean, Edwards, and potentially a Davis flip.

I think Collier deserves an offer regardless and is a really intriguing fit at Safety in Diaz's system. We're overloaded with downhill Safeties and Deejay Dallas may play Corner (looks very interesting to me there) instead of Free Safety. Right now, I'm legitimately concerned we don't have someone who can play above average single high Safety.

All that: what does the staff see as the main weakness in Collier's game?

I read an article from a Maryland paper that McFarland couldn't announce at the UA game because he wasn't playing. His father said he would announce In January on another media outlet. So you're saying this is false and he will announce at the UA game after all?

Pete, thanks for the great work. You are THE source.

Cant help but think AG and his staff would, or wouldn't be right now, in this cycle and that guys like Jeudy wouldn't event THINK about checking out what is going on in Miami with them running the show. It seems to me that the biggest difference is that current players want to play for CMR and this staff vs past years of whispers of players telling guys not to come.

Confirm this is biggest asset of new staff or do you have another take you can share?

these "recruiting coordinator" hires like the potential one from the Ridge and the one we already have in Gulliver,

how are they so valuable? also, it sounds like a NCAA violation

no violation whatsoever, these guys are absolutely necessary to the recruiting infrastructure -- you think the position coaches are calling every single high school coach in the state of florida setting up logistics for team visits or camp visits? Baja has 15 of these guys on staff, why not add people who are plugged into the community?

what does this entail? because we've had guys like Harris and Rumph, who to be honest, have disappointed us in recruiting.

Ice Harris is not a good comparison. He was a head coach in high school and the head coaches aren't doing the dirty work as far as making relationships with optimist parks and bringing kids into the school. Look at Jorge Baez who has been a huge asset on staff.

Mike Rumph is about to land two potential actors on the offensive line so that narrative can die.
