Counting toss ups as losses for argument sake. I think we headed to a 10 win season

I stand by my original prediction of wins and losses, I have been burnt too many times to jump on another bandwagon. As a cowboy fan I have experienced similiar, just this weekend after everyone was praising the cowboy defense we saw the real cowboys. Until Mario and co can show me they have rid he program of the culture that has haunted this team for 20+ years I will expect the worse and root for the best.

I actually think we lose to UNC in close one but bounce back at home and beat Clemson the very next weekend.

That said, we arent at the point where we can do the "go down the schedule and circle the Ws" exercise just yet..lol..one day soon we will be.. BUT I agree that we should have three "gimmes" in BC, GT and UVA. So that puts us at 7 wins WORST CASE SCENARIO. Louisville on Sr day and NC state will make us earn it. And of course FSU....well...is FSU. lol.

If our offense this year will be what we saw Friday night, we will be a 7-5 team at best. Will be a slow, boring offense that lacks any kind of explosive plays.

Hope they held back alot but I have a feeling what we saw Friday is the offense.

I can respect that opinion but I don’t think we lose to UNC though. But you right, we’ll have to earn it against NcST and Lville.

I don’t like to get caught up in individual battles, but why would you ever “brag” about being correct that the Canes lost a game? Seems like you have greater interest in being “right” than the Canes winning games. This level of misery should not go untreated. I don’t know if medication is necessary but therapy is a must. If you live in the Atlanta area I can provide some referrals.

I was making fun of the mope ****stick that @Mklein13 rightly pointed out was predicting 4-5 losses despite all the evidence to the contrary on the heels of our first win.

We beat g tech last year and almost beat North Carolina. We are gonna run the ball right down their *** (no pause confidence) and they won’t have an answer for our offense . You only seem our offense open it up once and we scored on a defense way better than those two. Clemson and FSU are th only games I’m worried about.

I looked at the ESPN schedule on Oct 14th and that UNC game will absolutely be ABC Primetime 8pm game. The only other game worth anything that day is Washington vs Oregon and I think Fox has first dibs on Pac-12 games so I figure they will pick that up. NBC already picked up USC vs ND.

So if we want to put the country on notice that we are for real? We will have our chance to do it in front of everyone that night.
