Realistically we are a 4-5 loss team

Miami has greatly improved its talent but it didn’t bring in the elite WR we needed to compete at the highest level. Now will one emerge, who knows?

I can actually see this. The following year is where I want to see some of these youngsters get older. I'm assuming this current class will have more studs too. Cause this class is important to the last classes success.

This game brings back memories, knowing a ranked team was coming into the OB National television we’re nothing but a bunch of supposed to lose players teamed together.

I want to scoff at OP's post, but then I think back to the trauma of last season, and I'm not so sure.

I will say this though, ... just from a physical standpoint, we look like a different team this year. If the players can pick up the new schemes quickly enough, I like our chances. Last year Miami, Ohio beats us. They are probably the best team in the MAC (for whatever that's worth) and they aren't exaxtly scrubs on defense. I'd say we handled them rather easily (as we should have) without showing much of our more advanced schemes before the Texas ATM game. I'm cautiously optimistic.

FSU looked explosive at times, but I would attribute 14 of their points to LSU quitting at the end. LSU also left a lot of points off the board; some due to dumb coaching decisions. That first drive should've been a TD. Going for it on 4th down instead taking the 3 pts during the following drive was a stupid and arrogant move early in a tight game. LSU dropped an easy INT on FSU's 10 yd line that should've resulted in 7 or 3 pts. And Lacy Panties let a surefire TD slip (literally) right through his hands.

FSU made a bunch of dumb mistakes too, but none that directly led to or lost points that I remember. Could've been a much different game.

Come on, you know that Miami is the only school at the country where we can use "TWENTY YEARS" to rationalize how bad some of our fans expect us to play, while other schools are allowed to flip their rosters and make rapid 1-year and 2-year improvements. Not Miami, though...

Thanks for your opinion! Cuz, that's all it is till those things happen (if they happen) but I will come back for my crow if it happens!!! But will you if it don't?

Stop saying we. You’re counting the team out before the tough games are even played. Then you turn around and have a slurp fest for Fsu and Colorado after one game. You call yourself a fan, but won’t give “your so called team” props for handling business against weaker competition. It’s a step in the right direction considering we lost to MTSU last year.
