Realistically we are a 4-5 loss team

Clemson is better than fsu to my eyes. I watched that game and was like fsu QB is that entire team. Clemson right now has some coaching staff problems lol. I still don't know how fsu won but they did they look good. They are ahead of us in their build but their foundation is ****. It's like Diaz it will come crashing when those kids leave especially the QB. They haven't recruited well up front imo which will make them soft down the road.

I agree. Dabo did some legendary corching to lose that game last weekend. They jumped to a big lead and then went hyper conservative. They chose to run the clock out instead of trying to actually win the game. Then Dabo decided it was better to try to have a walk-on backup kicker win the game for them instead of trusting his offense to do anything. They still have a ton of talent on the roster but as long as Dabo keeps the handcuffs on the offense, they're barely a top 25 team.

their offense has been trash since sunshines last year.
 
I'm telling you all, we complete #RevengeTour2 with Duke in the ACCCG, then during the layover, before the playoff we lobby the bowl committee to add the LifeWallet '**** You' Bowl against MTSU.
 
I think people are wanting to be good so bad they are falling for the hype way to soon. We beat a good A&M team that was 5-7 last year just like us. Then we beat 3 scrubs.

4-4 in the ACC this year is not out of the realm of possibility and I would argue is the most likely outcome.

Now, the UNC game can change everything. Win that game and 6-2 very realistic.

UNC Clemson FSU and UL are 4 very losable games.

GT NC St and BC are 3 games we should be heavy favorites. But I just haven’t seen very many teams go from worst season ever to winning every game they were supposed to win. We very easily can drop one of these.

UVA is the worst P5 team.

So even with 1-3 against the top group we could still be a 4-4 ACC team.

Basically after the last 20 years I’m just not going to get fooled into thinking we are a top tier team. I’ll take the wait and see approach. I could see our ACC record anywhere from 3-5 to 4-4 to 5-3 to 6-2.

But win the UNC game and I’ll start believing 10-2 or 11-1 is possible.

Leading up to A&M I said if we split between A&M, UNC, FSU, and Clemson then I will take it. Now Louisville looks like a decent enough team where we could possibly drop that game. Ga Tech looks improved too. Good thing those two games are at home.

We need the win the games we are supposed to. Nc St, Ga Tech, Virginia, BC.

The way we played against A&M and Miami Light, and how’ve they played against their other competition let’s me know we’re pretty good.

A&M has given up a total of 23 points in their other 3 games. We’ll really see how quality of a win that was in the coming weeks. They got Arky, Bama, Vols, SCar and Ole ****.

Miami Light has scored 41 and 62 on two FCS opponents and put up 31 on Cincy. Zero TDs against us.

While I don’t want to get ahead of myself and I’m well aware transitive property doesn’t apply to football seeing the teams we beat perform well outside of us let’s me know we have something.

I think atm wins 9-10 games in a week SEC this year. that'll be a good win and that was a Beat down we put on. if not for ST, it wouldn't even be close at the end.
 
A lot of you guys are referencing the “let’s wait until ACC play to determine where we are at” like this is the Pac-12 with 8 teams in the top 25 and is actually murderers row conference wise. The ACC is pretty trash from all accounts. I’m not saying we could sleepwalk through every team but some of these teams we should absolutely beat without a doubt even if it’s a close game. ( BC, GT, UVA, Nc State)

conference play is always iffy. teams know each other better and the wear of the season comes on. it will be a step up in play (we havent played really anyone outside of ATM but the positive signs are that we look dominant and well coached no matter the opponent (again outside of our crappy special teams play)), but with our progression in how well coached we are, i think we can win 10 and thats my expectation. were at 4 now. should be at 5 after GT. thats 7 left to play with two tough b2bs games. im just excited for fun and promising football again
