Rayshawn Jenkins quote about Brad Kaaya

I personally want to see Jenkins fight like **** to keep his own job...Let Olsen worry about himself.

I thought his job was won or is nobody's job guaranteed except for Coley, Flowers, Feliciano, Perryman, Howard and Duke?

hope some jobs start becoming guaranteed to a certain extent... I'm tired of everyone being moved around. We NEED continuity on defense and offense. No more garbage of moving OL all over the place, have them become great at one position. Same with OLB's and DE's

The real litmus test for any of these QB's shoułd be a simple question- "Will you run out of bounds on a crucial 3rd down instead of diving for the first late in the game against Dook with the season on the line? Yes? You'd rather try to preserve yourself so as you can enjoy a "career" as practice squad QB in Jax? You don't say?! Good to know!"

I'm convinced the defense has been upgraded along the front, LB play will be better and faster, CB and safety play will be much improved. Given these improvements and an influx of better talent we have to be better defensively. Our recruiting future is predicated on a vastly improved defense, an offense that shows its tough to contain and exciting. We really can't afford to lose to anybody on our schedule but FSU. To close on a top 10 recruiting class we have to beat Louisville and Nebraska.

Game on the line? The game was out of reach when that occurred against Duke...

"He's very smart with the ball and doesn't turn the ball over." After Jacory and Stephen this quote makes me very happy

Less talking more action on the field.

Would you prefer all the players just say "no comment" when asked questions?

Nope, but a comment of "he is doing well, can't wait to see what he looks like when the lights are on", would be a great comment to me.

You sound like a broad...****in about absolutely nothing

Sounds like most of the porsters on this board.

Except I bet if you were to go back and look, you could find quotes from Harris and Morris' teammates saying the same things about them. And probably for Marve and Wright before that. Every offseason is filled with boilerplate quotes from UM players to journalists about how player X looks ______ and really______ and is definitely _______.

I think we're all excited but pump the brakes. We'll know soon enough. I'm taking all these quotes with a grain of salt because our defense is fuggin terrible and it's a joke that they would try and say who's got skills.

Howard, Burns, Gunter, Elder, Bush, Jenkins, Carter, Kiy Hester, both Crawfords.

If that 2-3 deep is terrible in any respect I'd eat my own turds.

When you say the defense is terrible, you should preface it by saying last year's defense.

You do know that, in college much more than the pros, teams can be dramatically different from one year to the next.

Go back and watch it as I'm not subjecting myself to looking at it again. It was 3rd and 4 in a one score game and Dopey Eyes McSnickers ran out of bounds nonchalantly after picking up 3. Please don't make me discuss that game ever again.

Could've made a similar post at this time last year. Hopefully it comes together for us this time.

++....have never read too much into these type of reports. The only thing that matter is whats done when the lights come on. Rest of the talk meaningless.

Lots of smart in this statement.

1st off our secondary really wasn't that terrible. Our defensive line was terrible! So I'd give a lot more credibility to that statement. 2nd I'm interpreting that as Kaaya isn't staring down receivers (cough Morris). We don't need a ****ing superhero to come in & take over the reigns (although that'd be nice). We need a distributor because with the weapons we have they'll make him look like a superhero.
