Ray Lewis Retirement Good for U Recruiting?

I dont know the answer to this fully, but as a former player, he's not supposed to talk to recruits. As a parent of a normal recruit, i would imagine other parents do talk to other recruits on these trips, so the question is in the mind and rules of the CCCCP, I mean NCAA:

Is Ray a PARENT first by rule, or a FORMER Player by rule. Seems there could be a conflict. That said, I would imagine nothing could be done if Ray Lewis Sr was having a loud private "public" conversation with his "unsure" son about why he needs to go to the U in front of others.

This isn't groundbreaking stuff or a precedent, this has to have happened before. Ray is an Alumni, Player and Parent.

My take is he is allowed to come down and do whatever a normal parent/guardian would do. I don't think he could do things outside of that.

I don't think it matters that RLIII is 100% committed either, I think what matters is a school is allowed to send and put up a Recruit and Parent for an official visit. It just so happens that the parent is Ray Lewis.
