Rashard Robinson Update

Who do we turn away?

6 -- LAFF LAFF LAFF
Kirkland -- OL is a priority
Collins -- obviously a big fish
Coley -- I think he's the only WR who has a committable offer
Williams -- If we were going to drop him, we would've done it after the AQM commitment
Grace -- His spot is being reserved for NSD
Bostwick -- great prospect at a position of need
Bryant -- ditto
Robinson -- Seems like we're still going hard after him (although he might have to go to prep)

As far as I know, all of these guys have committable offers. I don't see who we turn away if they all want in.

I think some guys already on the roster get shown the door.

We just ask one of our current commits to walk on before we turn any of those guys away.

Butch was evaluator of talent. Not sure about recruiter. Did he pull guys we thought had no shot at?

DJ Williams, Kellen Winslow was going to Wash originally, Gore was going to Ole Miss as was Roscoe Parrish.

Butch wasnt going to take Roscoe or Gore. They committed after Butch left and Coker came in

That's how I remember it

Yea but Butch was on these guys just before he left they were leaning elsewhere the whole time untill late..

he got those guys to lean to UM before he left. Yes and Winslow dad defintely wanted him to play for a black head coach at first...

I'm sure most can afford the tuition. Good stuff

I believe we have at least one commit who can

We have a lot of dead weight on the roster that already have their degrees. Little doubt in my mind they will be cordially pushed out should all these kids want in.

IMO, they'll make room for all these guys. We're at 79 right now following Paul and Finnie departures, and 11 seniors graduate, leaving us at 68. Let's say Golden hits the trifecta, and all these guys commit, then we'd go up to 89. 4 is not hard to find. Now, if we also self-impose ships, as Golden has implied he might do in some of his public interviews, it will be tough to find 6-7 guys to get to 82-83. But not impossible.

Correct. Greatest evaluator and projector of HS talent in the history of football. Definitely not an elite closer.

for the most epic close in UM history. I feel it. Its happening

It will be half. Prob all we have room for

No

We have 12 now. There are 9 listed there that aren't committed which would be 21. So I'm not sure why you say no. Half would be 16 or 17

20 probably Coming, maybe 1 possibly 2 more

Cane, I mean what else can you say. I think the opportunity to play with his home boys, in front of mom and his family, at what is probably the school he pulled for since elementary school will be too much to pass up.

Can't believe the lack of props for jj here. The man is the best talent evaluator ever. He didnt only load the u with talent. He turned the woat team in the nfl into a dynasty in a relatively short period.
