His dad was the Cane fan. Sometimes kids want to go do their own thing.
I think you nailed it. Probably more of the parents were Cane fans and he wasn't.

When my kid grows up he will wear Canes gear because I will buy him Canes gear. He will probably like the Canes as well, but it’s not a given he will have the same affinity for the program as I will. You can like multiple things at the same time but still end up like one more than the other. Life isn’t so black and white.
Probably goes even deeper than that. Maybe he liked Miami a ton and hence why he committed there but is a country kid at heart and didn’t vibe with the more urban setup? Maybe he had some friends going to Auburn as well. Whatever happened, something clicked at Auburn. It happens.I think you nailed it. Probably more of the parents were Cane fans and he wasn't.
So I guess my question is was Auburn a school he liked growing up or did they just pop up out of nowhere and take the lead?I think you nailed it. Probably more of the parents were Cane fans and he wasn't.
Well Auburn did go 5-7 this year.Didn't help that he grew up with the Canes being mostly 6-6 while other programs were hitting big bowls or the playoffs.
Now this makes a ton of sense. Thank you for that info.Probably goes even deeper than that. Auburn has sucked lately. Besides Cams season, what have they been? They’ve been through as many coaches as we have. Bottom line…go where you want. Get kids who are dying to be Canes.Didn't help that he grew up with the Canes being mostly 6-6 while other programs were hitting big bowls or the playoffs.
Kids a talent and any Cane fan with a brain would be happy he was our QB in this class. Just because he flipped doesn’t mean he blows. But I’d rather have someone do this BS now and go where they want instead of portal.Rashada will be underwhelming . Not impressed by his personality ,his skinny build and his accuracy.
He’s more a available than a Hollywood Blvd street walkerThis dude 100% will hit the portal at some point during his college career. I feel like if he stuck with Miami he would have hit the portal after year 1.
He’s nowhere close to NicoRashada will be underwhelming . Not impressed by his personality ,his skinny build and his accuracy.
Of course he's a talent, but he's already quit us once. Is he dedicated to be a great QB or make nil $$? We'll see...Kids a talent and any Cane fan with a brain would be happy he was our QB in this class. Just because he flipped doesn’t mean he blows. Couldn’t agree more. But I’m fine with a kid likeOf course he's a talent, but he's already quit us once. Is he dedicated to be a great QB or make nil $$? We'll see...
