you gtfoh. i knew from the beginning. i said what I knew. i mentioned on the board and everyone gave me ****. its not a big deal to me. i don't care what his stars are. I just stated something I knew as a fact, 100%. those people who gave me ****...well, their chickens are coming home to roost

That is true, I jumped on your case because I thought your were just throwing **** out there, I apologize.

But you did say he was going to flip to FSU if they offered & that's what I took issue with.

That was true if they offered him too, randy said it himself in an interview that he grew up a fsu fan

Maybe the dude did just commit with the intention of decomitting down the road, but he didn't play nobody.

At the end of the day, we have better prospects at safety. That's all.
 
Sucks that a So FL stud gets away. But in this DB class, there are just way too many top quality kids to worry about that. Especially since I would have stacked him below the other 3 safeties in this class. ... I'm just shocked he would choose to go to dumpster-fire Florida.

Probably shouldn't have even taken his commitment that early in the Spring.

Are we assuming it was because he is scared of competition?

It's obviously an easy cop out for us to use as a fan base. But when you have a secondary with that many recruits coming in one season, you have to think at least one of them thinks "am I making the best decision here?"

On the bright side, I would have to imagine that this leads Richt to have one of the silents go public.
 
I kinda liked him. I thought he attacked the ball carrier well and hit pretty hard. But he's replaceable.

Not sure if this will be the case, but we are already after Sherwood at LB. Now that one of our 3 Safety commits has dropped off and we plan to replace him with a CB, we could easily tell Sherwood that we'll let him start out and Safety.
 
The kid is a targeting penalty waiting to happen coverage skills are below average we won't miss him his low 3 star rating reflects this
