We need them because we need depth. After next year, we lose Cookie (if he does indeed get that 6th year), Gaines, Craig, and Cornelius. That will leave Perryman (if he doesn't leave after next year), EJ (if he can stay on the team and doesn't leave after next year too), Kirby, Paul, Terry, Armbrister, and Fentress. We need better backups than Paul (unless he develops), Armbrister, and Fentress. Plus a redshirt or two in this class would help.

Umm we have Jawand Blue that's a stud

Jesus H. Christ. Either a kid´s a dud because he pays a lot of video games his freshman season, or everyone´s a stud just because they´re canes. People need to get realistic here and calm down. Blue hasn´t played a down. Just like Briscoe.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound linebacker is still considering USC, Miami (Fla) and Oregon. He is planning to take official visits to all three schools.

Powell announced his decision via his Facebook status update: "Yes I Decommited from Florida, nothing against the program just needed to re-evaluate my choices."
