Quinton Powell

don't care if he comes here or not.

We need them because we need depth. After next year, we lose Cookie (if he does indeed get that 6th year), Gaines, Craig, and Cornelius. That will leave Perryman (if he doesn't leave after next year), EJ (if he can stay on the team and doesn't leave after next year too), Kirby, Paul, Terry, Armbrister, and Fentress. We need better backups than Paul (unless he develops), Armbrister, and Fentress. Plus a redshirt or two in this class would help.

There will be attrition on the roster and possibly current or future commits that dont qualify. This happens every year.

U can also grey shirt kids as well IIRC.

This team needs talent and depth, Powell fits both.

He also mentioned that he would still consider UF if offer still exists when the time comes to make his final decision.

The Sentinel was unable to reach Powell for comment immediately on Monday night.

Sounds like they pulled his offer once he made it known that he would be visiting other schools after committing.

He is visiting USC because his best friend is Leonard Williams who committed to the Trojans last year..
