Interdasting.

Seems like the ONLY position we seem to have a lot of guys in play for is LB. Lot of good LB talent interested in us this year, and ironically its a position where we have two young guys coming back who could be starting for the next 2-3 years.

With our limited numbers, I dont see how we can take more than 4 LBs. Maybe a backup plan to Thomas.

I just want the DC kid, Foster and Matt Thomas for LBs. Tim Williams, Hooks,Bryant and the Al Quadin kid on the DL. AJl, Coley, Collins, Standish Dobard, and Olsen as skill players

we don't need 5 LBs with who we have. we aren't losing anyone.

Bond might end up being a DE like McCord.

We need them because we need depth. After next year, we lose Cookie (if he does indeed get that 6th year), Gaines, Craig, and Cornelius. That will leave Perryman (if he doesn't leave after next year), EJ (if he can stay on the team and doesn't leave after next year too), Kirby, Blue, Paul, Terry, Armbrister, and Fentress. We need better backups than Paul (unless he develops), Armbrister, and Fentress. Plus a redshirt or two in this class would help.

I'm pretty sure they have no intention of ever having to rely on Fentress again. You bring in as much talent as possible, so yeah go for it

Linebacker prospect Quinton Powell (6-3, 200) of Daytona Beach Mainland has decommitted from his pledge to the University of Florida's 2013 recruiting class.

After Scout.com posted the intitial report, Powell posted to his Facebook timeline:

"Yes I decommited from Florida, nothing against the program just needed to re-evaluate my choices."

Powell took his official visit to Gainesville this past weekend and he posted to his Facebook account Sunday night about his visit: "I had a great time and everything was set up very nicely and I thank God for giving me the chance to experience that."

Powell had recently declared his intentions to take official visits to Southern Cal and Miami, and possibly Oregon, and he told Scout that during his UF visit, he got the feeling that he was disappointing the Gators’ coaches and decided to decommit instead of make for an uncomfortable situation.

He also mentioned that he would still consider UF if offer still exists when the time comes to make his final decision.

The Sentinel was unable to reach Powell for comment immediately on Monday night.
