As far as the Washington finish, don't understand why after the injury the game clock didn't start running again when the play clock did.

Thats just the rule playclock always runs no matter what tho. Texas declined the 10 second runoff so clock started on the snap. This rule is in place so the offensive team cannot fake an injury and stop the clock with no timeouts to give them more time.

Well congrats, I’m in the middle of a renovation too but no baby on the horizon as of now.

Yesterday I watched the CFP games and, after a full season of Miami football, they reconciled myself with the sport. Good football still exists after all.
