QBS in the Portal as of 11/28

To me, it sounds like Ward, Howard and baby Tua if he hits the portal (which would have to be fairly soon since we don’t want this to drag out multiple weeks), with Pratt as a potential wildcard.

Ward would break the bank NIL-wise but the ripple effects could be a sight to behold regarding interested portal prospects wanting to play on a team committed to winning asap + a Heisman-caliber QB.

I didn’t get to watch as much “other” college football as last year since I actually got to watch our games this year

Ward, he just brings an element and makes plays that none of the others can…he’s turnover prone at times but so is Howard and baby Tua. But - Ward played behind a horrendous OL and got battered/pressured a bunch, coupled with a non-existent running game…and still put up video game numbers in plenty of games. He’s also continued to get better from the FCS ranks til now, and I believe he still has room to grow.

Regardless, I think all of those three would give us an opportunity to achieve 10 wins in ‘24.

The issue is…if we go into condensed sets and bro ball, then Ward isn’t the best fit per se. I’d go with Howard then imo or even Pratt. If we open it up like we saw against Louisville and A&M and even BC, Ward 100% to pair with our OL and RB rooms.

Hopefully that's the case. Go all in on him and Ward then pivot if need be, but hopefully as @Cribby said, we should hear something within next few days if its good news

I’m sure I’m in the minority but I actually like McCord. I thought OSU had more issues on offense than the QB. Besides that he won 11 games this year, when was the last time a Miami QB accomplished that?

McCord is an absolute take. I'd rank him above everybody other than Ward.

My problem is I still have PTSD with Miami quarterbacks and the name Kyle.
