Exactly this.

If he knows the playbook, there's no way I'd start Emory over Nickel if that's where we're at. I'd much rather we take our lumps with Nickel and the youngins, than I would spend the season hoping our D can keep it close for the game manager.

Ewers likely does. Probably more than him. I personally like Mendoza more. His ceiling is more intriguing being surrounded by a good cast for the first time.

6'3 190lbs (is also listed as 6'4 205lbs) 4-star QB out of Lubbock Texas, goes to 5A school Coronado.

Dual sport athlete that plays both Football & Baseball, had a great Sophomore season with 3,683yds 43TD's & 7INT's at 64.8%cmp. And currently in his Junior season has 1,129yds 9TD's & 4INT's in just 4 games.

Under the radar TX QB, is a tall prototypical Air Raid QB, big arm with accuracy, throws with velocity but has a bit of an elongated release but his mechanics can...

Really wish Morris would’ve taken more time. I’m assuming he’s signed at this point.

If we can’t get Robertson roll with Nickel. Don’t give Mendoza 1mm+. Throw money at Concepcion and another outside receiver and just give him the keys.
