These are bad throws by Murphy. I can't believe we're arguing about this. Funny thing was on second one Harris somehow managed to get out of position and wasn't in position to make a play on the ball. Didn't matter cause Murphy threw it to the outside on a go-route.

I would watch that first int again. His WR slowed down and lost sight of the ball. We also got away with holding

The screenshot is from when Murphy released the ball. It doesn't matter what the receiver did after that. Powell is chilling back there providing help. You can't throw that ball if you're a QB

Tessitore: Meesh Powell catches it like a fair catch
Palmer: Murphy stares down receiver and Powell just follows his eyes.

You should watch it again. There was no way that was going to be completed. Double coverage the whole way. Powell looked like a center fielder catching a lazy fly ball.

Once you get past Mateer and Mensah it gets… bleak. Unless I’m blanking on some names.

At the very least with Morris you get a guy that’s been in systems similar to what we ran this year. Wouldn’t be my first choice by a mile, but I’d rather bring someone in with some mobility and if he beats Emory out great.

I think he is just one of those guys that's a great fit for Duke but not for us. Duke won a lot of their games cause of Manny Diaz aggressive defense. The Northwestern and FSU games are two games that Murphy looked really bad. The Northwestern game he was awful in 4 quarters but in OT he was amazing with some great throws. He has these moments where he looks like a great QB. Georgia Tech was another game I felt like he didn't do enough when they choked away their lead in the 4th quarter. Where would you list him among this years ACC QBs?
