This was mention on Cover 3 podcast back in like week 11. And I'm not sure it was said just for ***** n giggles. It must have some legs.

However, Nebraska has the $ to up his NIL deal.

AND if he hits the portal, do we even have a shot? I know our season with Cam was successful for the perception of Mario being a 'QB killer'. However, Cam was a one and done to improve his draft stock. Raiola has at least 2 years left,

I'd certainly take him if he enters. I'm just unsure of our chances.
Offer him enough money & of course we'd have a shot.

If we take Castellanos I’ll be a fan of a new program the next day.
Why? Electric playmaker with proven production? We could do alot worse than Castellanos. Got little Kyler Murray in his game.

We got posters on here simping for players that havent shown much of anything.

TC has over 3,000 total yards and 27 TDs in a season in the ACC.

Put him behind our OL, with our running backs, and WRs. I can see lot of explosive plays.

I hear you, but Mario needs to stay away from Boston College qb transfers.

I think you’re hyping him a little too much

He’s Jordan Travis before Jordan Travis became good.

He quit on his team and he’s a bad passer.

Ranked (in my opinion - based on fit in this offense):
1. Max Brosmer - New Hampshire
2. Will Howard - K State
3. Will Rogers - MSU
4. Brendan Sorsby - Indiana
5. Matt Sluka - Holy Cross
Darkhorse 1: Katin Houser - Mich State
Darkhorse 2: Sam Leavitt - Mich State

-Not sure which of the Michigan State transfers I was watching earlier this year but one of them looked like they had very good tools. Running and throwing it. I think it was against Minnesota.
-Cam Ward immediately goes to 1 on this list if he enters
-The Chiles kid from Oregon State would intrigue me if he enters - definitely gets on the list at least to 5. As high as 3.
-Will Rogers isn't my first choice (obviously) but is a safe bet. Not as 'gifted' as TVD but also less likely to hit that mega slump mid year. This is a 10 win team with Rogers under center in 2024. I'd almost just say take him now and move on. Maybe even grab someone like Leavitt too with multiple years of eligibility to go with him. Budget friendly move and guarantee we get someone solid. The longer it goes the worse things will get for Miami. Not saying right now, portal hasn't even opened officially, but before Christmas. Still want us to prioritize good mobility at QB and Rogers isn't that.
2022 Kurtis Rourke would probably be a top 2-3 QB in the portal right now.

2023 version was not as good. I'm assuming injuries but I didn't watch nearly as much cfb this year as in year's past. So idk.
Thinking I was pretty spot on with my list last year on portal options.

Leavitt is balling right now and I saw him for a couple quarters against Minnesota in 2023 and he stood out.

Always like Kurtis Rourke and he balled this year at Indiana.

Will Howard might have outperformed my expectations and been above Brosmer and Sorsby ended up being pretty good for Cincinnati and they made sure to lock him in quickly for next season.

i think his 2023 season was closer to better Jordan Travis than youre giving him credit for.

Its hard to throw for over 2K and run for over 1K in P4 season.

If youre judging his passing vs. Cam Ward absolutely, but his legs makes him a problem.

He also has shown deep ball accuracy.

Now Im not saying he is the best fit in Air Raid offense, but he is a good player.

Last sentence is where I’m at.

Doesn’t fit our system as a passer.
