I don’t even like this approach. IF Howard wanted in, you take his commitment. Lot of unknown variables in play here though- but you have to believe that Mario & Co. are smarter than allowing Ward to go on additional visits while telling Howard to “stay put- we’ll be right back”.
crop of QBs this year is bad and lots of teams need a qb. Miss on Howard and Ward and then what?

Young? The rest can go . You play the portal to get paid and it back fires don’t come crawling back . Your scholarship is now going to someone else . Until kids start crapping out this is going to get out of control on average players .

Welp, been lurkin and hopeful, but that taking even more visits says it all. Move on.

Again: UM thought they had him and he probably said yes but then something happened and the next day he is visiting FSU and planning other visits.

Occam Razor.

They never had him and then something g changed. Like always with miami, some guy decided to run his mouth without knowing the facts. Ward didn't say yes and then 12 hrs later say I'm going to visit fsu and then maybe other places.

Sounds like BS to me. Washington already has Will Rogers lined up to transfer. Nebraska has the #1 2024 QB in Raiolo. Good luck if you want to be in corn country with that losing team. USC could be a landing spot. No defense and a weak offensive line.

It’s up to the QBs to accept the deal. Turning down $2+ million if that’s what happens is not on Josh
The way it played out also makes it seem like someone (likely Ward) accepted a deal and then something happened to change things. Info was probably accurate at the time
