I won’t go into the stats because I don’t feel like typing but he regressed. Mario can take blame, but there are multiple factors.

So by my count. Mario overchieved and got best season highs in career numbers from 3/4 QBs. Herbert was a 3 star recruit and had plenty on field success. Herbert had 2 very productive seasons. Shaugh and Brown all had career highs with Mario. Neither elite recruits. They also had plenty of team success. 3-1 on QBs

I’m not even joking when I say he needs to hire an assistant or analyst whose only job is to advise him on timeouts and clock management. It’s ridiculous but we’re stuck with Mario for the foreseeable future so we need to work around his shortcomings.
