I have a 17 year old daughter who’s a HS senior and currently going through the college application process. I can tell you with absolute certainty I have no ****en clue what she’s going to decide because it changes as often as her underpants. Why people give **** to our insiders I would never understand.

Yea I’m not bashing you. I just think let it be. Let people do what they want. We don’t know what people know or how they know. No need to make a generalization on here about “insiders”

I’m not an insider.

I don’t pretend to be one.

I just post what I hear.

Definitely not on edge, but I see you and the old Grassy crew ******* around with the people that actually provide information outside of what you get on the paid sites. It’s the same cycle in places like these.

Person posts what they hear, it misses, and the mopes and pricks descend on them and chase them off the board. Like clockwork.

I enjoy the banter because it’s fun and I don’t take it seriously. I can’t say the same for the others who post stuff for free here.

Well this is the only site I'm on so I don't have expectations for any kind of info, I come here for the discussion. I never even doubted that you hear things. I simply stated that list on the post I quoted were things that generally were believed by the fanbase and wasn't necessarily going out on the limb in any case.

If questioning that stuff gets you riled up to the point where you go in defense mode then so be it, but it's a message board and if it ain't cribby, d money, or pete then you should expect people to sometimes question it.

See, that’s the problem. You think this is a “me” thing. It’s not. I don’t care one way or the other.

I do care IF the people that bring info here for free are sensitive to this ****.

If you’re going to be a cynic, you should invest some time in reading comprehension tools or courses.

This year, I’ve been told that:

+ We had Scott and Stewart in the bag in the summer.
+ That with a good enough season (10-wins), Ellis was Miami’s to lose.
+ Dawson was going to bounce right after the season was over.
+ Jacurri Brown was leaving at the end of the season (portal)
+ Zion Nelson would leave after the spring last season.
+ Citizen would get snaps against BC and in the bowl game.

Almost all of them are wrong. I’ve made it a point to stop posting because I was being fed what essentially was propaganda.

The Maude’s and I have actually banned people for doing this because they ruin sources of information on a free board, and while some “insiders” are not what they purport to be, that’s not everyone who brings info.

I’m pretty sure a bunch of us are tired of having people running others off the board.

@JimmyJohnsonsHair what do you do to contribute anything meaningful here that you think what you’re doing is ok? I don’t think it’s ok. I don’t care what imagined right to do as some of you please is in your mind. It doesn’t outweigh the flow of information from people with connections.

Some of the people assailed on here are actually connected to situations I’m aware of. If you all are going to go after people bringing information you better hope I don’t know them and/or where their info is coming from.

Stop ruining it for others.

I will never trust anything I read or hear on the internet until it's verified by any of the big names in sports.

I don’t have previous issues with him. I don’t care if they ask questions. There’s a difference between that and showing up acting like a snide prick to resources a free Board especially needs.

Bravo.

Another great one was There were people ****ting on people commenting in the big conferences thread who were literally in the room where it happens and/or worked directly with those that did - and that’s why there’s no info there anymore - because info was right at the time even if situations then changed - for the moment.
