There’s a MASSIVE drop off in the portal QB tiers after Ward/Howard.

Also, letting ward go to FSU would hurt more than not getting him in the first place

The intel from the insiders on this QB thing was always “Miami feels good about its chances …” as opposed to info from the recruits. Usually when the crystal balls come is when you know **** is real. That’s when the kid is actually talking.

You never base your decisions as a program off of what other people are doing recruiting wise. Especially not in this era where everything is so unpredictable.

If you’d have secured Howard and Ward went to FSU, then who gives af. You have the better roster anyway based off of all the depth they’re losing. Ward is turnover prone too, which is what we don’t want. Line it up on the field next year and beat ‘em regardless, look how close it was at Doak this year with Emory.
