Q&A

Was AQM really nuts?

Yeah how did the whole rental car bs play out in the locker room?
Gotta imagine guys were ****ed that they really ****ed it up when they (Grace and AQM) were going to be counted on.

Everyone was disappointed. They were nice guys and the D was a huge question mark coming in, so everyone felt deflated at the time when they got kicked off. People who weren't good enough to get free cars were ****ed that guys would be dumb enough to drive theirs around campus

Why?
Its not like we didn't already kick Grace and AQM off the team for getting the rental cars.

How would you rate the talent of the RB's on the roster last year in comparison to each other - Walton, Yearby, Gus & Homer?

Before Gus got hurt he was the best of all of them, but wasn't quite the same after. Mark is the most talented all around, Joe ran the hardest and Homer was the best athlete

Did bleakvern pay you to say this?

I'm with you Vern. I always thought it was close, but Gus was the best of what we had. So it's good to see someone on the team with that same opinion.

lololololol

2 questions,

1) How much of a focus do the players have on 'Bringing the U back'? Do players pay attention to the rich history of Canes football? Is there talk of bringing the program back?

2) What was Golden like? What would a typical halftime speech from him look like? How would he interact with players?

That's 6 questions.

Fellow Indiana native here- Lawrence Central alum. There were rumors that players told recruits to not come when Golden was here. Any truth to that?

Great to have other Indy natives. I'd heard those rumors but not sure if they were true or not

Why did S.Coley wave to come out after every **** reception or hit?

Thank you, those two and JY were the only ones I was aware of so its not like I'm exposing anyone. And when you see a player parking a Rolls Royce, you're going to get mad knowing the team could get jeopardized especially since we were on sanctions at the time.

Gus lost some speed and burst that he had before the injury, so I think it was right that he was behind Walton and Yearby most of the season

Recognizing the QB situation is a huge unknown, how do you expect the various position groups to stack up this season vs last?

Not for sure if you can say or want to, but what really happen to Stacy Coley his sophomore year to have that much of a decline?

Everyone wants to get back to the glory days and its starting to feel like we're making strides to returning. All of the players are sick of mediocrity. Golden was nice, just tried doing too much like with the slogans and unnecessary stuff. He wouldn't change up what he did and the plays became predictable. He was passionate and gave good speeches, but ultimately the lack of adaptation killed us.

What is Richt like personally behind the scenes?

He's a great guy behind the scenes as well. I've played for coaches in the past that say everything you want to hear in public and in private are the complete opposite. Coach Richt is very genuine, wants to get to know all of his players and cares about us while we're there and what we want to do with our futures.

Losing Stacy hurts since he's a great talent, but if the WR corps stays healthy, it should be better as a whole. There's a lot of unproven guys but the talent is there. Walton will get better and I think Homer will show flashes next year. The line should improve vastly
