I just made a fairly obvious observation on his mindset that I have WITNESSED for 3 years, just not running a 40.

But ya'll right tho. Kaaya will win multiple Super Bowls, Adrian Colbert ran a 4.1 and is gonna be a pro-bowler, and Stan Dobard is gonna be a 20 sack guy in the league when he makes the switch to DE.

What the **** do you expect? Anyone who has read my posts on Kaaya know I'm not his biggest fan (far from it honestly), but why on earth would he run it? Or any non-mobile QB for that matter? There would be no benefit at all. He has to do (or not do, in this case) what will give him the best chance to succeed. I wish him the best in the league, would be great if he got drafted to a team where he could learn behind a veteran QB.

Kind of agree about the attitude he tends to display and the ridiculous comments he has made since declaring (playoffs, championships, etc.), but you started a topic about him not running the 40, which is just silly.

Respect your opinion Tweed, but bottom line, if he was a competitor he would have come back and won all those hypothetical games he said they'd win after the fact, make the playoff, and cement himself as a 1st rounder. But he didn't, he's content being a mid-rounder.

Kid fears competition like no other. Hopes he can use hype from a couple years ago to sneak into the league and make those 3rd round backup checks. He probably looks at Chase Daniel's career and it moves a little bit. I know 40's aren't that big of a deal, but for a QB with mobility concerns running a sub 5 would have helped ease those concerns. But like I said he hates to compete, not a gamer. A 7 on 7 God who was never the same after the Clemson hit. If you need a QB who will light up FAU and Appalachian State in a clean pocket he's your man.
