Some thoughts....

1. If we played more 4-3, I'd absolutely be comfortable calling Grace to beat out Kirby at the Will. However, since we are likely 60% or more 3-4 team, it's just too hard to go with a 210 pound backer over a 235 pounder at WILB on a full three down basis. If he could have just gotten up to the 220s this job would be his.

2. Most of us expect Jamal Carter to lock down a spot at safety. I think there is a decent chance that Crawford could upset Bush at the other spot. I noticed n the weight room stats that Bush STILL didn't test on running events. That bothers me. He's injury prone. Crawford has a high football IQ and was killing people in the spring.

Malcolm is ready to explode and become that 7 to 8 receptions a game machine...

Tucker is my other pick...

I still think Clive Walford can step up big time, but that writings on the wall with him I fear. I also think that Stacy Coley will shock even some cane fans with just how good the guy is, might be a top 5 pick in the NFL draft.

I think the guy to look out for tho is Heaps. I don't think he's gunna set the world on fire but I do think he will hold the starting spot and be a good upgrade over morris.

Possible camp upsets?

Herb Waters starter opposite Coley over Dorsett.

Malcolm starting slot.

Dobard becoming the #1 TE.

Chad Thomas becomes a starter for opening game.

Jelani Hamilton realizes his potential.

Anthony Moten opening game starter.

Darrion Owens a starter for game one.

Artie or Corn unseat Gunter from his starting spot.

Rayshawn takes back his spot.

*Not saying any of these will happen, but that some could be stories that come up, possibilities.*

Most intriguing player on the team, IMO. This dude literally could have super-freak combine numbers when it's all said and done. Would love to see him put that athleticism to use on the field this year.

I don't. Like that combo of carter and Crawford not enough speed back there

I really can't see anybody taking dorsett spot. Go look at some of the spring practice stuff dorsett looked real good.
