Predict our ranking on Monday

With Zona losing I see us being #4.

Behind whom? I see Duke and 'Zaga but other than that?

Indiana as well. Beating OSU on the road will keep them in the top 5, couple that with the other losses in the top 5, they won't drop too far.

Just to review, Indiana lost to an unranked Butler (at the time), unranked Wisconsin and unranked Illinois.

We have a better RPI and SOS. We're hot as ****. IU should be #4 or #5.

Oh that's true forgot about Indiana, well no matter what a record will be broken tomorrow by the 'Canes. :neonu:

You are thinking too logically and with too many facts. We all know where we should be and where some others should be. However, more than likely, we likely going to be 4 or 5, tops 3. I hope I am wrong but people still dont believe and that is okay. The team thrives off of that ****.

I'm not saying Indiana deserves to be above Miami, but it's probably where they will be. If you look at this year and how far #1 has fallen after losses: Indiana fell from 1 to 6. Duke from 1 to 3. Louisville from 1 to 5. Duke from 1 to 5. And Michigan from 1 to 3. Now the entire top 5 has lost, besides Duke, so I don't see Indiana falling far at all. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see Indiana still at #1 since Duke had a ugly win vs BC.

Again I think Miami deserves to be #1 or #2, but logically speaking, I see them at #4.

I can't think and take into effect this unknown variable called BIAS/BULL ****.

Duke should be #1 because they won their games this week, have 2 losses overall (1 to us and 1 to ranked NCST). They are #2 SOS and #1 RPI.

Honestly, not sure about Gonzaga their two losses were both to ranked teams,, they won this week and have the #12 RPI and #64 SOS. I suppose they are the # 2 team.

Miami should be #3, we're hot.

I have us coming in at #3 behind Duke and Indiana now. I think we will jump the Zags off SOS.

I feel like we'll be 3/4 which is awesome! Loving this team, benefit of us not having early jumpers to the NBA. Senior team and good support, team is legit.

1. The No. 1 team should be Miami:
Imagine this: Five of the top 10 teams in the country lost last week and the highest-ranked team remaining out of those five teams that didn't lose is a team that lost by 27 points to a team that has clearly been the best team in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Enter the No. 11 Miami Hurricanes, who made North Carolina their latest victim in an 87-61 rout on Saturday to move to 10-0 in the ACC. Miami Heat players LeBron James and Dwyane Wade watched courtside. Jim Larranaga's group hasn't reached celebrity status, but with two of the NBA's best players taking notice, it's the perfect wake-up call for the rest of the country to start taking notice.

HIGHLIGHTS: How the top 25 fared
"Miami is the best team in the country," ESPN analyst Jay Bilas said. "I think they're capable of beating absolutely anybody. They've proven that."
Odds are, Duke will become the No. 1 team in the country on Monday in both polls. But voters will certainly have to scratch their head when they have a Miami team that's so hot right now (like Hansel). Duke's resume-lifting November is what makes them No. 1. But let's not mistake the Ryan Kelly-less Blue Devils for the best team in the country, especially when they're not the best team in the ACC. Just do me a favor and look at the top 10. Then find me a team that's better than Miami. Exactly. Told you. Now listen to Will Smith.

i dont want to be 1 until its a 1 seed in the tournament. the 1 seed has lost five weeks in a row. no thank you lol

Why the **** wouldn't you want to be no. 1? Don't give me this curse BS or this "we'll have a target on our backs" or this "not until we can prove we can stay there" stuff. It's Miami basketball...FREAKING BASKETBALL DAMMIT......if we only hold a no. 1 for 15 minutes, it's a major accomplishment. Get out of here with this fear. If someone is going to beat us they are going to beat us, if we have a 1 next to our name or a 19 or a 12 or an 8 or a 4 or whatever.

There is no real reason. I think we're about to hear something about Miami playing poorly or over confident.

We need this #1 stuff because it helps with recruiting, it helps us get our name in the media which is what recruits like.

Moving up has everything to do with getting voters off the fence (the voters who are still ranking us around 15 or so) about Miami being legit. I think demolishing Carolina in the fashion the team did will elevate us to at least #3 in the AP. Its the "coaches" poll, which is really the SID's poll that we might make a bigger jump, but still end up 6 or 7. Get two road victories this week and we are well on our way to a 1 seed and at worst a 2.

Did I really just type that?
