seriously. I dont think I've seen that from a highschooler before...I would remember that ****. He is unreal fast/quick. If this were NCAA, dude would be 99 acceleration, 96 speed. Oh and he breaks tackles!!
**** it, I'm in. He's the best RB in 2014, and I've been a Sony fan for the last 4 years.
Dear DeAndre Burnett,
Get Your Brother to The U.
Score,
CanesNation.
He is definitely freakish no doubt, but I have seen it before...in orange and green with a "U" on his helmet this past season. Duke Johnson has every bit of that burst. Both these kids have elite athleticism.
I would say their burst is comparable but I dont think its a stretch to say Cook has better long speed if that makes any sense.
Also just looked at the highlight video, and thats the same one released earlier. It only has half the season included (about 5 games) its missing the late season games and playoffs when Cook turnt up. Hopefully we get a full season highlight
I wont argue that. I was speaking specificly to their short area burst. Cook has elite speed. However, I never saw Duke caught from behind in high school either, and I watched him eat up angles consistently as well. From what I've read, you have seen both in perosn though...so I'll take your word for it.
I think I remember him getting caught from behind at the under armour game. I could be wrong though
I remember that. It was on a nasty kick return from Duke. You know I have excuses though right?!? He ran all the way to midfield and then cut across to the opposite side after toasting 4 defenders. He was tired and the defender had an angle on him.
