And to be clear, when I'm talking about "good enough", I'm talking about qualifications.
We all have our own opinions, based on past experience, about certain coaches who have coached at Miami previously. ****, there is a separate thread talking about how many former UM coaches have gone on to have success elsewhere, and sometimes at higher levels.
Yes, "getting an NFL job" is not a statement that a coach is amazing or completely capable. But if that coach has the qualifications necessary to be hired for a job in the NFL, then it's comical for the CIS "wikipedia bio readers" to conclude that the same guy is not qualified to work as the assistant DL coach at Miami.
That is all.
The ultimate quality of the coach? That is an ongoing process of building one's bona fides with production and success.
But would it have been a stretch to hire this guy to work with Taylor and Hetherman? Obviously not.
