Minnesota was 20th in the country in rushing YPA on D and 21st in rush YPG on D. We were 36th and 22nd in same categories respectively.

Now of course, teams knew they had the drop on us passing so they didn’t need to run the football but even when we all knew it was coming like vs GT and SU, we couldn’t stop it. Basura.

If this a guy Hetherman feels is necessary to align with his philosophy and we will be sound in stopping the run, then sign him up. I don’t care about big names for recruiting anymore. That **** hasn’t gotten us anywhere. Can this guy take Scott, Blay, Horton, Moten, and Artavius Jones to another level and bolster our run defense and help our front force teams to be one dimensional?

Worked as a GA under Mario at Oregon.

Just turned 27 years old. Lot of respect for a dude that’s already climbed the ladder and made associate HC title and position coach at that age in the Big 10.

I’ve heard his name dating back to Akron in people talking about rising stars in the profession. Looks to have a ton of energy too. I bet he’d be a great recruiter

His name really isn't that hard to pronounce.

Considering many of you are from Miami, you'd think this isn't the first creole/French name that you've ever encountered, but I guess not.

Most people are not very good at looking at a name or word and simply pronouncing it by how it's spelled. It's amazing. And if folks think this name is complicated, my Basque cousins ask them to hold their vino.
