## Seantrel Henderson and Curtis Porter told UM coaches they expect to return for their senior seasons, but Henderson also asked for NFL feedback on how high he would be drafted. So nobody at UM can be certain what Henderson will do, despite what he told coaches. Mel Kiper said Henderson would be a second- or third-rounder if he comes out but said he should not turn pro

Other info in there:

### Several schools, including Wisconsin, have reached out to UM coach Al Golden, but Golden has told everyone he's staying at Miami.

### Barring a change of heart by UM, the Hurricanes no longer expect highly-recruited receiver Angelo Jean-Louis to be part of their 2013 recruiting class. He committed to UM last year but didn't qualify and spent the past semester in prep school…. If Thomas Finnie (arrested for his involvement in last week's laptop theft) is off the team for good, UM essentially is losing the player it considers its fourth-best returning cornerback. Tracy Howard, Ladarius Gunter and Antonio Crawford likely will be UM’s top three next season, with Nate Dortch, Larry Hope and oral commitment Artie Burns competing for time.

### Former Arkansas coach Houston Nutt has been telling people how much he would like the FIU head job. He has a career 135-96 record at Murray State, Boise, Arkansas and Mississippi. But he was just 24-26 in his last job (Ole Miss).

Praying to baby jesus that these two come back. Guys like them on the lines can be the difference between 9-3 and 11-1.

The rumors about AJL have been floating around for a while. I'm very skeptical that he ends up in this class. His corch at his prep school didn't have very good things to say about him.

Good news on Porter (I think we can live w/out Henderson), but really sucks about AJL, he's the #1 we need.

Great news on Porter....our defense just got a lot better next year. Just need him on the field consistently.

Why wouldn't AJL be able to still go through his spring semester and improve grades more? He'd still be able to join for fall camp. Is it a numbers thing? Staff doesn't want to hold a ship for him that long with no guarantee he even qualifies?

I think between Scott and Waters, we can develop one of those guys into the X receiver we're looking for. We've got one or two others coming off a shirt that might have something to say about it, too. Not too worried.

What we REALLY need is for the weakside WR position to get taken over by somebody not named Phillip Dorsett, so we can move him into the slot and create match-up nightmares for defenses. There isn't a slot corner or safety in the country that can cover him and he hit a bunch of big plays out of the slot this season.

How does Barry Jackson get the scoop ahead of any of the Canes beat writers?

Because he actually seems to do a little digging, and has a source or two. The other hacks just rehash old news, twitter feeds, and message board topics. (with the exception of the Sentinel's new guy, he's actually been doing a decent job).
