Interesting young man, but bringing him would send the wrong message to the current QB's on the roster and the 2026 Qb commit.

Maaan this guy reminds me too much of Jalen Ramsey. Ion know…

100%. As great as Cam was for us he did not impact the recruiting one bit. He signed late, so no there was no one to sign to play with him, except maybe Sam Brown, and as a one and done, no one in this high school class was going to play with him.On the surface, I don't disagree. Thing is, I'm fairly certain that 5 star QBs bring a certain cache for recruiting WRs and I believe that's been a part of why we have a higher whiff rate on top end WRs.
Zestiness aside Ramsey was a menaceMaaan this guy reminds me too much of Jalen Ramsey. Ion know…
It’s the zest I’m worried about. Hopefully he has the ability to lead our men into battle if he’s our guy.Zestiness aside Ramsey was a menace
Dawson is OC/QB CoachDo we have a dedicated QB coach? Or,. Is it by committee or OC? Don’t think I have heard mention of anyone specfic, if not, wouldn’t it be a good idea to have a possible 3yr kid under the tutelage of a QB guy. Just askin’

Figured. So we're returning 3 starters. And possibly Rodriguez at Center, which he was a starter to begin the year, albeit at guard.
I watch mahomes play and see sugar sprinkles and everyone I know say he sweet like his brother, but he a baller.. if this kid can be close I would take that- big pauseI also sense he has a little sugar in the tank, but the kid can play QB. What he does off the field is his business.
I'm not writing this as an endorsement of Emory, nor an indictment thereof. Unless Mensah is way better than Emory, why bring him in? 3 years of eligibility left means he's the same age (eligibility wise) as Emory. IMO we need a one and done, two years left TOPS type. Otherwise, why are we recruiting HS QBs at all? It doesn't make sense. Again, I'm not Emory's dad or agent. He's a likeable kid with a mediocre arm who is likely smart. I'm not expecting another Cam Ward, but there's gotta be someone between Cam Ward and Emory/Mensah, no?
Also, Mensah only played one game against decent competition (Oklahoma) and had a lousy game. He compiled his stats against lesser competition.

Go ahead and stab me now with that shank.
That’s correct. In the case of Mensah they most likely are though. It’s precisely my point. Bring in an experienced and proven guy at a high level. He will be here for two years tops.These statements are not mutually exclusive. If he’s that good, he’ll be gone in two years.

Make sense?
You’re saying the same thing I am, except it sounds like you want Mensah. I’m unsure and would prefer we get someone better, if a better option presents himself. Sound right to you?Ok. And if he’s isn’t that good he’ll be recruited over. Regardless, whoever we bring in is more than likely a 1-2 year player here in either scenario.
1. He’s either really good and stays three years (nobody would have a problem with this if he’s good) or;
2. He’s not very good and gets pushed back to the portal or;
3. He is very good and leaves early for the draft
Technically 5How are we returning 4 starting O-linemen? Unless you're considering Bell a starter?
Rivers and Carpenter are gone.
manuel??
