Why do we let Jorge Duasso have anything to do with this site?
Send emails to canesinsight@gmail.com and we'll read them on air.
No one knew about miller because he missed the spring with a injury and transferred right before the season to sandalwood from a small school. He got offered by 3 of the best defensive minds in college football and bama was inquiring about him late too.Its a bit unfair to expect Nesta to be Ed Oliver off rip. He's got that potential, sure, but I hate to force iDL into a spot where they are forced or asked to play a ton during their freshman seasons. Its going to be a GRIND for Nesta, as it is for any big boy on the interior. IMO, the best use of him is going to be in a reserve role, playing under 200 snaps. Most big boys, early in their first year playing significant time wear down by the end of the season.
If we are forced to play Jordan Miller, however...things probably aren't going to well for us. All of this hype for him, this late, seems like a bit of overcompensation...but we'll see. The key to bringing in late risers is to give them time to develop.
He’s taller than that, 6’1.5-6’2 308 pounds. That’s what he measured and weighed in at the army game.
just listened. if I hear this duasso cat say you can't blame these kids for going to Alabama again. you're not a miami fan talking like that. also said I'll never push a kid to miami. why not? you're a sucker, bro.
Bring in Nesta like Michigan used Gary.....in and out to relieve both DTs...he should easily be a frosh AA...IMOIts a bit unfair to expect Nesta to be Ed Oliver off rip.
