On the latter, Nesta is a bit undersized. But yeah, I don't know if Miller's going to be more productive than Nesta who's rated the 3rd best DT in the nation.DuASSo is really trying to convince us that Miller will have more of an immediate impact than Silvera? LMAO the Florida DPOY......C'mon man. Miller is a steal, but to say he will provide more help than Nesta is absurd.
He also says Nesta is undersized right now......

Nesta just needs to build his lower body up. He'll be good.

Could be true, I was just going off 247's info which has him at 6'2 308 and others on here.
He’s taller than that, 6’1.5-6’2 308 pounds. That’s what he measured and weighed in at the army game.I read he was at 6'0 1/2, which isn't bad for a 3T.
His legs are a bit slim to my liking for a DT. But that can be fixed with S&C. All the more impressive given his production at Heritage.
To add to that, he went against some of the top lineman in the country who were bigger at the opening and army all America game and still dominated. 6’1.5-6’2 308 is not small for a incoming freshman dt and he carries his weight wellI wouldn't worry too much about Nesta's body. That kid is a fiend and a gap-splitting playmaker. Warren Sapp was built like a porpoise, but he was explosive and always disruptive. I like the dude's who are naturally strong and explosive like Nesta because that natural stuff doesn't wear off in the 4th quarter.
Wait till Kool teaches him some technique and he naturally matures physically. I thought he was the best DT in the country in the 2018 class. He put up unheard of stats as a senior with basically a bull rush.To add to that, he went against some of the top lineman in the country who were bigger at the opening and army all America game and still dominated. 6’1.5-6’2 308 is not small for a incoming freshman dt and he carries his weight well
Yeah he definitely is the best dt in the country in this classWait till Kool teaches him some technique and he naturally matures physically. I thought he was the best DT in the country in the 2018 class. He put up unheard of stats as a senior with basically a bull rush.
Late afternoon bump.
But will he stay for 4 years?I wouldn't worry too much about Nesta's body. That kid is a fiend and a gap-splitting playmaker. No actual UM fan would say you can’t blame local kids for going to Alabaga. I will blame them and shame them.just listened. if I hear this duasso cat say you can't blame these kids for going to Alabama again. you're not a miami fan talking like that. also said I'll never push a kid to miami. why not? you're a sucker, bro.
Ford hasn’t been near 275 pounds since the 3rd grade. We’re fine with size. Depth is razor thin, and experience is lacking.Agree. For context, LSU is the only team out of all the teams we're playing bringing back someone who has more mass than Nesta. That said, I expect we'll start the season vs. LSU with a 4-man rotation of Willis (6'4 285), Ford (6'5 275, should be 290 by season), Bethel (6'3 270) and Odenigbo (6'3 300). Silvera and Miller will come off the bench when they're ready.
2018 Spring 1st-Team Depth Charts according to Our Lads:
LSU: Alexander, 6'2 330
UNC: DT Crawford 6'1 310, DT Dalton 6'6 280
FSU: NT Jones 6'3 300, DT Christmas 6'4 310
UVA: NT Hanback 6'4 305
BC: NT Smith 6'1 295
Duke: DT Cerenord 6'1 300, Ferguson 6'2 305 ... can't believe Cerenord is still around. could have been a Cane
GT: DT Branch 6'3 270, DT Glanton 6'3 280
Va Tech: NT Taylor 6'2 260, DT Walker 6'2 280
Pitt: NG Roy 6'4 280, DT Watts 6'3 285
