Please go to the UNC game

The 2:30 start kinda helps I guess. It will still be pretty hot but not as bad as Bethune or ncst.

It's going to be windy all week and a chance of rain on Sat..

Partly cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm. High of 86F. Breezy. Winds from the ENE at 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

For the kids too. They're tweeting asking for fan support, man. They want to know we haven't quit on them.

I was gonna go until that debacle at Notre Dame Im not going..*** that ****....

SMH. So typical of the South Florida fan base. Heat, Marlins, Dolphins, even the Panthers. If it's not a big stage, no one is going. These kids deserve support, and the recruits watching take notice I'm sure. Keith Bryant and Sony Michel were up in SEC territory this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the game atmosphere which is HUGE for most 17 year olds. South Beach can be sold to some kids, but @sses in the seats helps. Doesn't matter if it's FSU or FIU we're playing, get there if you're a fan. Otherwise never post about attendance again. 3 years of season tickets? Whoopty doo! I had them for 10 before I moved away, and missed only handful due to family business. We're 4-2, lost to 2 top 10 teams and have a shot to win our division. I guess that is a good reason to pout and sit on your couch saturday.

I hope it will help the Phins kicker too..

They have no business talking about not quitting when they clearly bent over, layed down, and willingly took it in the *** in Chicago.

Yup. They will need to earn people's adoration once again after that performance.

Only at Miami. South Carolina got 70,000 per game when they were 0-11 in 98 or 99. Only at Miami do "fans" put conditions on their "fandom"

I just don't understand why it matters if they are dominating or sucking.

They are 3-0 in the conference. If Miami beats UNC they are in the drivers seat with both hands on the wheel for the first time in a long time. It's a big game. Bigger, IMO, than either Notre Dame or Kansas State.

This game will probably be a shoot out, and Miami is pretty **** exciting when they are playing loose on offense and making big plays. Who wouldn't want to watch a game like that live.

Although, I don't really care. I have a great time whether there is 20k in the stands or 60k.

MY .02 HERE.....WHEN I LIVED IN SOUTH FLA (OPA-LOCKA / HALLANDALE) I HATED AWAY GAMES BECAUSE IT MEANT I COULDN'T GO TO THE WEZ / OB AND BREAK IT OFF IN SOME PUNKS *** FOR RUNNIN' THEIR PIEHOLE IN OUR HOUSE....BACK THEN, MIAMI PACKED THE OB, THE TEAM PLAYED WITH PURPOSE AND WERE LABELED THE BAD ASSES OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL...MIAMI FANS TOOK ON THE SAME IDENTITY AND PRIDE AND WOULDN'T DARE MISS A GAME....I'D SLEEP IN A FU@KIN' DUMPSTER IF IT MEANT I COULD WATCH MY CANES IN THE OB ON SATURDAYS.....IT WAS STR8UP ADDICTIVE....

FAST FORWARD TO NOW....

OUR HOME TURF WAS DESTROYED AND IS NOW A FU@KIN' BASEBALL STADIUM....IT IS HERE WHERE YOU CAN REMOVE THE PRIDE....

THE BAD BOY / BAD *** IMAGE THAT ROUTINELY PACKED THE HOUSE WAS FLUSHED AFTER ERICKSON LEFT AND DID / DOSE NOT SIT WELL WITH PAST & PRESENT CORPORATE $PON$OR$, TO INCLUDE HUMP-DEE DUMP-DEE & $HALALA....HERE IS WHERE YOU CAN REMOVE OUR IDENTITY.....

SO ASKING PEOPLE TO SPEND THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY TO FRY IN A PLASTIC SEAT IN A PLASTIC FEEL STADIUM FOR 3-4HRS AND PAY INFLATED PRICES FOR PARKING, FOOD & BEVERAGES TO SUPPORT AN EVICTED / DISPLACED TEAM WITH NO IDENTITY IS A PRETTY TALL ORDER ANYWHERE.....WORSE IN SOUTH FL

We happen to have a championship NBA team, an NFL team with fans all over the world, our own baseball and hockey teams, beautiful beaches, beautiful women, plenty of culture, a small local alumni base. Miami isn't Columbia, SC.

That's good stuff right there.

Not to mention we don't have the generational fans in an international city like Miami. We have 10,000 undergrads, 5,000 of which go to games at max, an alumni base that primarily isn't from South Florida and doesn't stay in South Florida upon graduating from Miami, and a solid core of 40,000 fans that regularly go to games. The rest are people who have no ties to the university and/or are not generational fans like some SEC fan. These people only come out when we are winning. There is nothing you can do about the make-up of our fanbase and certainly nothing you can do (other than winning) to consistently fill the place up. To try to compare our fanbase, situation, and attendance with SEC schools that are so deeply rooted in tradition and have very unique situations of their own, is completely and utterly moronic.

I don't think it could be stated any better than this right here.

/I'll be at the game just like I am for every other home game!!
