If you live in South Florida, heck, if you live within 5 hours of Miami, please go to the stadium. I know I'm preaching to the choir on here, and that if you're on here, and live nearby, you'll likely be there, but the guys really need support. Unfortunately I'm in Tennessee, and had to go out of town this weekend, and then again in 2 weeks, so I can't afford it, but I've made sure that my family in Miami is going, and I'm trying to get as many people to go as I can influence.

I know we'll probably have another embarrassing crowd around 30,000, but it would be nice to get at least the lower deck filled.

No, not really. Beating a dead horse would be a thread about how our attendance is horrible

no we get this every week... the fans who love watching and supporting UM football live will go. Those who don't will not.
We have never had and will never have a large loyal fan base that will fill up Son Life stadium every Saturday.
Until we are undefeated and in the top 10 expect sun life to look the same against mid level ACC teams.

I've been around Miami football my whole life, I know this well, just trying to start some sort of positive thread, won't make that mistake again

dude don't worry Im not bashing you, I have had my hopes up the last 2 years to see a full stadium cheering on our canes to.... I have season tickets and tailgate 6 hours before every game and just watch the lots fill up to half capacity and just envy the environment I see on the road. I'm just in the same frustration boat as you when it comes to wanting to see our home fans come out and support and create a true college football feel.

after extreme disappointment following last night's loss all i could think of were the empty seats I'm gonna be surrounded on Saturday...i just think its hopeless...people down here just don't support this team...i don't know what the explanation is i mean people around the country go to losing team games...w'ere in a major metropolitan area and shouldn't have trouble getting 60,000 fans to the game...i just don't get it

wouldn't miss for the life of me, paid way too much to not go plus will surely be another barn burning perfect storm of frustration. I know better than to expect all cylinders to fire in synch or as Al says, get it. Gonna be a test of character how the team responds...fans...well we know how they'll respond

Coming down from ATL with the family (although admit the wife is a UNC grad) but at least filling in some seats. I do get the kids for the home games' just hoping to beat out by 0-4 record at MIA -UNC games. Go Canes

I have 7 tickets(season tickets) and I'll be there. All of them used up. And agree with the OP. If you live in S Fl, no excuse not to go. This game against UNC is huge! Could ultimately put us in the driver's seat for the Coastal and a chance to play for the ACC championship. This coming from a team that many had winning no more than 6 games this year, and in some cases, Herbstreit and SI, had us winning no more than 4...

Come on Canes fans, support your team and show up for once!!!
