Honestly, I hope a point of matter in the meeting was cleaning up undisciplined, stupid penalties. We had two games in a row where such things could've ended in the team losing the game.

Yes, play with passion. Yes, play with aggression.

But don't do stupid stuff...like kicking a guy in front of a referee. Especially in a crucial situation.

i favor the latter scenario , the last 2 games were out of control, but both these games were games where we would have thrown in towel and got beat,/ then didn't quit

Very good move and very timely. These guys have 6 more games to define this season and the trajectory of this program.

We all want a 6-0 finish, but absolutely no reason we can’t go 5-1 and make it to the ACCCG.

We need to dial up the intensity and do a better job of protecting our secondary so we don’t get gashed downfield.

That’s on both the players and staff.

No reason to go 5-1 when we can go 6-0 in the next half...

What happens vs Louisville I doubt has any effect on the other games. It's difficult going undefeated and Louisville is a tough matchup for our defense. We can easily win and drop any other game.

Beating Louisville won't be easy!!!!

2017 we were a limited talent team but completely burned by injuries in the end due to the bye weeks coming so early due to the hurricane. this team has more talent

I watched the end of the Cal game with a group that consisted of zero Miami fans and they were all stunned that Miami was able to come back after being down 35-10, not just from an offensive perspective, but mentally as well.
I think some of the outside criticism has taken away from what they did.

Beating Louisville won't be easy!!!!

Definitely not. They're explosive and can score points. But their defense looks crappy so I'm sure on their side they aren't exactly thrilled to go against Cam. If the D or special teams can make a big play or two we should be in good shape. Brohm is aggressive and will gamble on 4th downs so avoiding 3rd & short more often will be key so we can keep their O on the sidelines as much as possible.

I asked my son after the Cal game if he thought that this team was coming together and these last two weeks and two wins are a part of that process? He never answered me, so I’ll answer myself.F**king A it is. And, to be proactive enough to call the Players Only meeting, before a loss, when the S**t hits the fan, and before a big conference road game, speaks volumes as to where this team and its leadership has come. IMO, building a team and program are big strides but also baby steps, so as not to get too far over your skis. We have exhibited both those properties this season. LFG, go Canes#CANESNATIONLIFER
