**** OCC...Yeah, when I was on the 7th floor, I built a loft that was so tall that I didn't have to duck when I put my desk underneath.
And I apologize in advance, I realize the furniture in the Towers was bolted in place, but you could move the stuff around in Mahoney-Pearson-Eaton (starting with the late-1980s renovations).
Mahoney had your bunk ( bed) a desk, chair, wall light, and a center shelf area with a miniature closet....not much space either to move stuff around.....luckily for me I had the full room because my roommate had a change of heart and flew home........ so the Mahoney room was all mine......
Loved it because I moved stuff in.......and it was comfortable....always thought the 7 th floor was the place to be though, while at the "Big M" as we called it...
Parking spaces were a pain in the a** so I had to park my XKE convertible in the Pearson lot and worry like **** that anyone even touched it..........had a couple of cuties keep an eye on it from their rooms at Pearson....and had no problems at any time......
Those were the days.........
